I am a lifetime resident of Fontana, a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mentor, and advocate for at-risk youth for more than 20 years. During my tenure as an FUSD Board member, student test scores, attendance, and graduation rates have increased.

I am enthusiastic about continuing to encourage our students to be great achievers and to use academia for self-enrichment and empowerment. As a community leader, it is my responsibility to listen and act on behalf of all parents and youth of Fontana Unified. My decisions and votes will always be for the betterment of our students. Fontana students are always first.

My Goals as a Board Member:

• Increase resources for safe schools and mental health services

• Increase Dual enrollment programs into Community Colleges and Universities 

• Increase resources and accountability for our special needs programs; this would include streamlined time frames for students to receive the services they need to be successful 

• Continue to keep updated technology available district-wide 

• Continue to work on capital improvement projects 

• Continue to keep the district solvent
